Why spend more on expensive "Boutique" wheels when I can build you a set of wheels of comparable weight, with a choice of components appropriate to you and your riding style for far less money.
Just because you can afford the expensive name brand wheel-of-the-month doesn't mean you should buy them. First you should know:
Are they strong enough for your weight and riding style?
Are they the appropriate wheel for your intended use?
Who's going to service them?
My road, recumbent and tandem wheels are guaranteed true for the life of the rim under normal use. My mountain bike and BMX wheels are also known for their exceptional durability.
Why? Because I build each wheel by hand with the finest components selected with you in mind. Each wheel is properly and evenly tensioned, checked with a tensiometer and stress relieved to ensure that they will stand for many miles of hard use. They are stable and ready to ride with no break-in or tune-up required.
